A recognisably NZ sight, this pair of Nīkau palms are sandblasted on large recycled glass discs. Simple, yet striking, in our best-loved Bombay Sapphire Blue or Bright Green.
Every step of the making is done by us here in the StoneArrow workshop, starting from core-drilling the discs from bottles, to being finished with handmade recycled Sterling Silver hooks.
The Nīkau palm is unique to New Zealand and it primarily occurs in coastal to lowland forest in warmer regions. While we have plenty in various locations around Golden Bay, a classic pair of Nīkau palm like this occur at the "end of the road" at Anatori, as shown in local artist Peter Geen's work (Nikau Point, Anatori River).
