Distinctive earrings crafted from recycled copper
These pretty recycled copper earrings were cast from an actual Paua (Abalone) shell. The intricate details of this iconic New Zealand shell are beautifully captured in the delicate handcrafted design. The copper has been flame-oxidised to a rich red colour and the earrings hang freely from recycled sterling silver hooks.
Note: no cute baby Paua were harmed in the making of these earrings - the mould was taken from a shell found on the beach.
Wear a little bit of Kiwiana as a reminder of your roots or to evoke memories of a happy holiday in NZ. Alternatively, score major points by presenting them as a gift to a very deserving loved one!
